Wholesale Jewelry MOQ and Pricing Guide

A practical reference for stock orders and custom projects

MOQ and price should be read together

A minimum order tells you the smallest quantity accepted for a particular ordering route. It does not, by itself, determine the unit price. Material, weight, construction, finish, stones, packaging, testing and total quantity all affect a quotation.

Current ordering references

Order route Current reference What to confirm
Ready-stock wholesale Order quantities and stock availability confirmed for the selected assortment Available products, variants, quantities and stock at confirmation
Custom production Starts from 50 pieces per style and color Material, dimensions, finish, stones, logo, packaging and testing
Custom samples Quoted by project Development work, tooling, CAD, materials and sample quantity
Custom packaging Depends on the packaging format Artwork, dimensions, material, print method and supplier minimum

Important: The figures above are planning references. The quotation for the selected products or custom brief is the controlling document.

What changes the unit price

  • Base material and, where required, the confirmed material grade
  • Product dimensions, metal weight and construction complexity
  • Stone type, quantity, cut and setting method
  • Polishing, texture, enamel or other surface work
  • Plating method, underlayer, thickness and finish color
  • Quantity per style, color and size
  • Logo method, labeling, cards, pouches or boxes
  • Testing and documentation agreed for the destination market

Why colors are quoted separately

The custom minimum applies per style and color. Gold plated, silver finish and another finish can require separate production setup and control, so they do not automatically combine toward one color MOQ. Send the proposed quantity split and we will review what can be quoted.

Compare quotations on the same specification

Two pieces can look similar in a photograph while using different metal weights, stone settings or plating builds. Ask each quotation to state the material, dimensions, finish and packaging. This makes the price comparison meaningful and gives the sample team a clear approval target.

Frequently asked questions

Can several designs be combined to reach the custom MOQ?

The current reference is 50 pieces per style and color. Different designs do not automatically combine. Send the assortment for a project-specific review.

Does a larger order always have a lower unit price?

Quantity can improve production efficiency, but the result also depends on material, construction and finish. We confirm the price against the complete specification.

Is the sample price the same as the bulk unit price?

Usually not. A sample may include one-time development, setup or tooling work. The quotation separates the relevant charges.
