Understand the order minimum
What Does “50 Pieces” Mean?
The custom production minimum applies to each style and each color. Splitting an order into more variations changes the quantities you need.
One style, two colors
For example, 50 gold-tone pieces plus 50 silver-tone pieces means 100 pieces in total. Different colors are not automatically combined into one 50-piece minimum.
Components and packaging
Special findings, stones, tags and custom packaging can have their own supplier minimums. We identify those in the quotation before you approve the project.
Finish, feel and cost
Check the Finish, Fit and Feel
Compare the finish under consistent light, then check the piece in your hand. Weight, edges, chain movement and closure feel are difficult to judge from a photograph alone.
If you are deciding between materials or coating options, say what matters most: target cost, color, weight or intended wear. We can review a suitable sample specification without changing several variables at once.

Give Clear Feedback Before Bulk Production
Check dimensions, fit, clasps, stone settings and the selected finish. Review the logo and packaging too if they are part of the order. Record anything that differs from the agreed brief.
“Make it smaller” leaves room for interpretation. Mark the change in millimeters, attach a photo and keep revisions in one list. Approve the final sample and specification together; later changes can affect cost and the production schedule.

Build Time for Decisions into Your Launch Plan
The timings below are general planning ranges. We confirm your schedule once the design, material, finish and sample requirements are agreed.
Confirm the brief
Send references, dimensions, material, finish and quantity per color. Agree sample costs and any CAD, tooling, component or testing work before development starts.
Make and review samples
Allow generally 25–30 days for brass and 925 silver, or 25–35 days for stainless steel. Tooling complexity and revisions can extend the sample stage.
Approve and produce
Bulk production generally takes 35–45 days after sample approval and final order confirmation. Include packaging preparation and delivery time in your launch plan.

Are custom jewelry samples free?
Sample charges depend on the design and work involved. CAD, tooling, components, logo marking, plating, testing and packaging may be quoted separately. Any credit or refund arrangement must be agreed in the quotation.
Can I order below the custom production MOQ?
Tell us the quantity and purpose of the order. A development sample is separate from a production batch; do not assume sample pricing or quantities apply to bulk orders. Custom production starts from 50 pieces per style and color.
When does the sample timeline start?
We confirm the start point once the brief, sample scope, costs and required inputs have been agreed. An initial inquiry alone does not start the sample schedule.
What information helps you quote a sample?
Send a drawing or product reference, key dimensions, material, finish, logo details and planned quantity per color. Add the destination market and launch date, plus any testing or packaging requirements.
What happens if the first sample needs changes?
Send one consolidated revision list with marked photos and measurements. We review how the changes affect cost and timing before the next stage. Bulk production should follow the final approved specification.
