A Size Name Is Not a Manufacturing Specification
Terms such as small, medium, choker or standard can vary by market and supplier. Confirm millimeters, inches, inside diameter, circumference, usable chain length, extension length and permitted tolerance.
The tables below are practical references. The approved drawing, physical sample and order specification remain the final production standard.

Use exact dimensions when a fit or functional result matters.
Should a necklace extension be included in the listed length?
List the main chain and extension separately, for example 18 inches plus a 2-inch extension. This is clearer than stating only the maximum total length.
How should I measure a ring?
Measure the inside diameter at the widest point of a round, well-fitting ring, or use the inside circumference. Do not include the metal thickness.
Why can a wide ring feel smaller?
A wide band covers more of the finger and can feel tighter than a slim ring with the same nominal size. Confirm band width when selecting fit.
How do I specify an adjustable bracelet?
State the main wearable length, extension length, usable adjustment links, clasp type and any end charm separately.
What is the difference between total length and wearable length?
Total length can include clasp hardware or decorative parts that do not add to fit. Wearable length is the effective inside length when fastened.
Which unit should be used for manufacturing?
